Option Two

These two draws are my favourite out of all six, and the ones which i will be using for my front cover and content page

I like the layout of this magazine front cover as both the masthead and cover line are bold and eye-catching. As well  the sub stories are easy to see and give enough information about the article, therefore interesting the reader and causing them to want to read the entire story.

I also like the content page as it show the key feature that were on the front page, indicating that they are a most read. also the pages are put underneath sub headings making it easy for the reader to locate the article they want to read.

Option 1

I won't be using this cover as the masthead is not that bold and eye catching, therefore it wouldn't stand out against the other magazines. As well the cover line isn't bold and blends into the main image, making it difficult to see. overall the cover looks boring and uninteresting.

the content page isn't very appealing for the target audience which the magazine is aimed at. The curly typography is formal and aimed more toward the female persuasion. the images are boring and plain, therefore people wont want to read the article being suggested

I have chosen the title "Goffs Gossip" because it is member-able and catchy and therefore it will stay in your head. also the target audience for this magazine enjoy gossip and they will wont to be kept up to date with the gossip in school, there Goffs Gossip is the perfect name as it represents the entire magazine.

I have decided to go with the story Goffs Greatness as people like to read about the success of their fellow pupils. the headline is catchy and there for catch peoples attention, making people want to read the article. also people who have achieved the greatness or are close to them will want to by the magazine to support their friend(s).
