double page spread designs

this is my first double page spread design, I have used the conventions of KERRANG! magazine, with the main image dominating 3/4 of the page, and only small section of writing. This will attract my target audience as they are more interested in the photos, rather than the article itself. However the design is plain and boring with only one image, making the spread boring, and something reader will by pass when flicking through.

This is my second and chosen double page spread deign, as the spread it predominately photos which my target audience prefer. The images are structured and not just randomly place, and structure of the images represents the structure of the article, so even if people don't read the article they can tell what its about just by looking at the images.

This is my third and final double page design. I have decided not to use this design as it is boring and simple, with a plain image on the left hand side of the page, and on the opposite page the mast head covering over half the page. There is little room for writing, meaning the story will be brief and uninteresting to read.
